Would you believe we have a whole room in our house that never gets used? At the entrance of our home we have a home office/study! It is an unusual space and has an open doorway so we have struggled making use of it! Now with technology being more mobile we no longer use it to do “computer work” We have a laptop and wireless printer so we tend to work at our command centre, the dining room table or on the lounge!
This unused room has become a storage space. It stores our filing cabinets, large desk and printer. I would love to decorate and transform it to a more welcoming space in the hope we would use it more!! I am dreaming of…..
This picture is the perfect inspiration piece for our room! This would be an affordable and easy part of the makeover and we have a perfect spot for it! The shelves make for great folder and paperwork storage. The top shlef can display inspirational pieces and the wall above is the perfect place for my inspiration board!
Speaking of inspiration boards, these would be cheap, easy to make and you know how I love me some chevron!
When it comes to colour schemes none are more perfect than this one! Crisp fresh white with inviting and inspiring tiffany blue! I already have these exact storage boxes and drawers but mine are unpainted! I think another paint job is in the works!!!
You can find all of these images on my PINTEREST – HOME OFFICE board!
