Bunnies, Baskets and Spray Paint

Hippity, Hoppity, Easters on it’s way.  You know what that means….DECORATING!

So it’s a start!  This little space has not had much love!  It’s a picture box with it’s own light but the tall and thin space is hard to utilise. I normally set up our seasonal display’s on our entry table, but this time I wanted to try something different!  I have some cute pastel easter eggs to hang from the tree, some gorgeous tins and of course a bunny or two.  The Easter wall art is a free printable from Lovley Living.

Not to leave the rest of the house unloved I have been searching for a new dining table centre piece.  I am in love with anything geometic/lattice work at the moment and found these vases/candle holders at Loot, whilst looking for a new table runner.

I love the pattern but not the colour!  I do love silver but it really doesn’t go with anything in our house.  This is a work in progress as I am hoping to paint them white!  What do you think? I am thinking a candle in one and flowers in the other?

Never one to pass up a good container, these baskets and suitcases have found a home in the playroom.  They are being used on Little Miss A’s shelves to store all her bits and bobs.

Left Basket – All things Dolls – clothes, bottles, utensils, dummies,

Right Basket – Dramatic play – Purses, phones, beauty items

Suitcase 1 – Play jewellery and hair accesories

Suitcase 2 – Little Dolls – Those tiny little starwberry shortcakes, polly pockets etc.

These four containers cost less than $15 from a cheap shop AND they look good.  Little Miss A just loves “packing her suitcase” saying goodbye and heading off to her imaginary school.

Do you decorate for Easter?  Pictures Please!!!
